Buy some heated rollers and stick them in when your hair is washed and nearly dry. Then spray it with really good hairspray. Don't brush after or you'll look scary.

Blowdry it with a large round brush, pulling the brush down and turning in, so hair curls under not out.

make sure you make it friendly so that way he wont take it in offence and just say that you wouldnt care if he got it cut or not just tell him to do it for a good cause..

i think that you should recomend the hair cut and not tell him that he should get it but i wouldnt tell my friend to get their haircut because if they like it and they are fine with the making fun of then i dont care and i iwll love them for them

i know a guy who had hair down to his waist and a hairdresser from my work shaved his head for charity so you should suggest this. the guy i know made loads and he got his picture in the papers to raise awarness. The hairdressers would love the publicity too so if he contacted them to do it and arranged it all properly it would be a good thing to do for charity and a way for you to convince him to get his hair cut!!

*Tangles*

Before going to bed every night, try putting your hair in a ponytail but don't forget to brush first. That way, when you wake up in the morning you hair stays untangled for the rest of the day. Repeat this cycle everyday so that your hair will be easier tamed and untangled everday.

*Dry Hair*

Try using a leave on conditioner and if you choose to use a wash out conditioner, comb your wet hair from roots to tip while it is still in conditioner. Wait for at least 30 seconds before washing it out.

*Tough Hair*

I'm not sure what you mean by tough hair but if you mean physically tough, I suggest a shampoo with lots of vitamins like V05 or Pantene ProV.

i suffer with my hair just like you its naturally curly and really frizzy i have to use so much frizz ease lol the best thing i do is get a really good conditioner but not too expensive and leve it for a good hour before rinsing out it really does wonders too your hair ! goodluck :0)

You could try doing those easy twists around youre head. You could also get hair salon stylist to straighten it and kinda curl it to go for another look. you could cut and jell it if youre up to it but the best idea is straitening and curling. Hope this helps :)

yeah, straightend always looks cool. i like braids also though, maybe try getting highlights (just don't go "bride of frankenstein" haha). it sounds like you haven't tried straightening yet tho, you should try that, although, i imagine its murder on your hair, as most chemical treatments are, but there are lots of different things you can do w/ straight hair that you can't w/ curly. :)

when your hair is wet twist it in small sections with some curling product....if your hair is hard to control use a gel product....twist little sections and allow to dry it will give your hair more defined curls

you can wear your hair with loose curls, flat iron it straight with a ceramic flat iron, maybe some twists, or braids. there are alot of options besides getting a perm. if you are going to go for the straight look wrap your hair at night and use a silk scarf so when you wake up all you have to do is comb it down and it eliminates the need to curl it because the wrapping process creates a curl look and it adds body. good luck
