When I sleep by myself, I wake up with nice hair. I don't even have to try. When I sleep next to my boyfriend, my hair gets all tangled up and oily even if I put it in a bun, leave it down or braid it before I go to bed. Why does this happen and how can I prevent it?

Maybe it's because when you sleep alone you are more prone to being more comfortable and not move as much. With your boyfriend you probably are moving more than normal in your sleep because you no longer have as much room. With the oily hair...that might be connected to a few things ;) but beings there is an extra person right next to you..with his body heat you probably are more warm and thus your glands will secrete more oil! Just my thoughts!

Put it in a neat bun b4 bed..and by morning it will be a cute little messy bun. My personal favorite is have it a little wet(dab of moose if you'd like) and by morning it will have wave to it. Good luck :)

it could be the pillow cases or the fabrics of his sheets that messes with the oils in your hair.
