i had them b fore i didnt like them cause i didnt know how 2 care 4 them but i woud wash and deep condition

Well i would wash it before you get them done! Depends on the hair if you have to straighten it or not..

I dont rly wash mines while they maybe once out of 3 months..most ppl i know doesnt rly wash them either..

But keep them oiled/greased!

wash it and condition it then put some oil in it then put 2 braids till you get to the shop you should use you can use Spartans products before and after and I'm pretty sure you know where to get this stuff from the Chinese hair store probably Kim's

wash it. dont perm it. the perm will make your hair to straight and the braids might slide out. while the braids are make sure you keep your scalp and the braiding hair clean. there is some african braid shampoo that you can find in the beauty supply stores i cant remember the name of it. i used it when i had my micros. just wet the tip end of a towel and put a little of the shampoo on it and rub your scalp with it. there are scented hair oils that you can get to spray on your hair to.
