My hair is sholder length, blonde, straight, and REALLY thick. I want to do something cute with it for school and everyday things like that, but I don't know what to do. It won't curl, it looks weird when I put it in a pony tail, and if I just leave it down it just hangs there and it doesn't look good. I'm really not into braids or pigtails or that kind of thing, any ideas?
How can I style my hair?
I have the same problem (except I'm not blonde). What I did was ask my hair dresser to thin out my hair as much as he could. He thinned it out in multiple uneven layers. I asked him to make my hair look like a certain celebrity. It helps to bring the specific style's picture with you.
Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize! Cute headbands and hair clips are inexpensive and VERY fashionable now! you don't have to do much with them either, but they help define your hair!
Hope this helps!
How can I style my hair?
it seems that you don't really want to bother too much about it in the morning so i would suggest you go to a reputable hair dresser and get them to cut it into a style that would cause you minimum fuss. your hair sounds heavy, so i think that styling into a nice layered look would be great. ask your hairdresser for advise too. flick through some magazines first to give you more of an idea what you would like.
good luck
