ooh that is easy. first you take the hair that you are braiding and you have hairs off to the side, that when you are braiding the braid, you pull the hairs on the side under the braid, but it must be tight tight so the cornroll will stay in. start off with a braid then gradually start pulling hair from the other sides into/under the braid and braid it tight.

basically cornrows are just a bunch of little french braids. using wax at the roots helps to keep them tight and avoid frizz

i found it easier to watch it be done a few times then read on how to do it , it takes awhile but you will get it along with cramped fingers!!! GOOD LUCK

after you get all of this advance..practice. that's the only real way you're going to know how to braid. get a doll head or a child's head to practice on...good luck
