yes, i did once (then loose out at night ``cause could not sleep well to tight, it gave me a headache)

My wife did years ago. When we go back we always have a great laugh when we here the ladies say "Hey pretty lady want you hair braided?" They were so tight they made her almost cry that night. When we got them out they used some kind of grease that took her many washings to get it out. But for a few hours for she looked great with them in!

It is a fun thing to do but my daughter has very fine hair. Because it is so fine, she ended up breaking her hair. If you want to get it done, leave the braids in for only a day or 2. Also, add some extra sunscreen to your scalp as some unexposed skin suddenly becomes exposed...major sunburn...
